Mike ching, I don't like sauna or hot weather much but next time I go back to HK, I may join you guys for a training run

Today, I also procrastinated and didn't head out the door until 8:30.  We are in the middle of a heat wave.  By the time I started, it was probably around 22-23c.  After half of my 13 miler, I think it was probably around 25.  The last several miles was painful and by the time I came home and checked the weather, it was at 29c already.  I still pushed very hard in the last several times to bring my overall pace down to 8:11/mile.  It wasn't comfortable.

Looks like you would need to have a few alarm clocks

I also have a heat wave here.  Normally, I run in 13-15c weather in summer.  These few days it is close to 30c by 10am.  Tomorrow for my 20 miler, I might also have to start by 5:30 or 5:45.  Might have to bring my lighting system and wear my reflective vest to run in total darkness on the trail.

mike ching, nice recovery run.  How long is 1 lap? 2k?  That must be a pretty large lap.

Mike 兄,你還是在用Pfitz計劃嗎?
好像你沒有跑任何的Tempo/VO2Max Interval,MLR,LR.
你是不是已經改用其它的訓練計劃呢?

Mike兄,看你現在的mileage應該不超過20-30miles,對不對,如果突然增加到70mile計劃前面幾星期的mileage,會引致受傷的可能。
你可否有一段時間可以每星期加10%呢?

恭喜 Mike 兄完成了半馬賽事 

在下有一個疑問,之前一天的Recovery Run 6k 跑25分多,好像太快了一點。Recovery Run 應該是半馬比賽速度再慢多2分鐘一英里。
25分6k可能是快過 Tempo Run 了。

準備一般。今年見鬼,居然有厭跑的情況。輕微時,一星期偷雞一兩次,嚴重時會停跑幾天--一星期總里數18K。今年心理質素不行,希望比賽前能有所改善。


我最近也有點提不起勁,需要到跑會和很多人一起跑才能順利完成一些困難的訓練。
也許Mike兄也可以找些跑友一起練習。
