I have both Polar 800CX and Garmin Forerunner 110.  Comparatively, I found the Garmin watch is more user friendly with built-in GPS function.  Honestly, Polar 800CX is not a bad watch and stylish because you have to purchase a separate GPS device at an additional price.

Polar 800CX costs me HK$34xx after discount last year and Garmin Forerunner only costs me HK$1520 from a buke purchase organized by 亮哥.  Once again, thank you for the great arrangement by 亮哥.

I have Garmin Forerunner 201, 205 and I just bought 110.

I love my 205.  It has worked very well.  But 110 is terrible.  I am going to return it and get my money back.  

I strongly DO NOT recommend 110.  You can save money and get a better product by going with 205 or 305.

Minor deficiency: lack of lap distance.  Almost impossible to do interval workout if you are not on a track, because you don't know how long you have run for the current lap!

Medium deficiency: power saving mode at the wrong time made me miss starting the watch on time for my race.  It took forever to reacquire the GPS signal even though I was right at the same spot when it went into power saving mode.

Major deficiency: GPS accuracy is MUCH MUCH MUCH worse than 205.  The lap paces were totally incorrect for my race.

You can get a much better product in Forerunner 305 at 60% of the price.

My experience with the 110 so far has been pretty positive. Accuracy is definitely no worse than my 305, and satellite acquisition speed is about the same. It's true that it's not suitable for special ...

Initial satellite acquisition time is about the same for both 305 and 110.  But reacquisition after a brief off time is markedly different.

For example, if you turn on your 305 and let it lock onto the satellite signal.  You then turn if off, wait a couple of min at the same position, and turn it on again.  You will get your signal back immediately.  Not so for 110.  Coupled with the "feature" for 110 to go into power saving mode at the most inopportune time, it ruined the timing of my race.

And yes, I noticed a vast difference between my 205 and 110 in terms of accuracy when there were a few turns.  For relatively straight routes, they are quite similar.  

I was also attracted to the small size of 110 but boy that was such a poor purchase.  Glad I can get full refund from Amazon.  I am going to buy the 305 to replace my 205, and save US$90!

我自2008開始用Polar RS800, 講真一D都唔差, 不過最大缺點是用footpod是極度不準確, 後來出了GPS配件, 準確好多, 但要在手臂綁多一舊野, 左手左腳, 特別係比賽時會容易撞到其他人, 又要成日記掛住要帶多舊野出街. 後來轉左用Garmin Forerunner 405, GPS同手表一體化, 方便好多, 唔駛記掛咁多, 平日又可以當普通手表帶. 雖然要經常充電, 但係講真, 平日都要同手提電話充電, 唔會麻煩好多.

用家對405的評論比對110的還要差.

在美國,大部份認真跑手都還是用205/305. 405/110很少在比賽中看到.

即係呢4隻入面，305最好?

另外隻錶保養有冇分地區架?
如果係ebXy 買(真係平好多)，保養是否都係寄去台灣?

305 唯一短處就是大。除此之外，比405/110優勝得多。

在405/110上，Garmin走錯了方針，花了時間和成本，想把GPS跑步手錶，變成可以每天都戴上的手錶。其實，只有少部份人士會真的整天都戴GPS手錶，大部份人只會在跑步時才戴上Garmin。

不過而家果隻310xt就走305的路線(大大隻), 但就比205/305多兩個好重要既優點, 就係電池可用20小時, 同埋可以50米防水, 個多月前我隻405壞壞地, 我買左一隻310xt, 用左咁耐, 除左比較大隻外, 都十分之好用

而家用緊405, 用左2年, D電力開始好唔惦, 操一次長課46K已經得番幾個%電, 同埋個TOUCH圈真係好煩, 一濕水或者大汗就無反應同失控, 期待下次團購, 而家惟有頂住檔先~~ (下次死都唔會再買TOUCH圈果D MODEL啦~~)
