Today i trained as usual in the morning around 7:15 am, location close to Ma Liu Shui Pier.

I ran at fast pace(faster than old men riding on bicycles) close to the left side edge of the cycle path, running towards Shatin direction.

The cycle path was quiet and no bike traffic at the moment.

Then a cyclist approached me from behind, sudden long bell ring try to scare me off the bike path in no second, but i kept running on the path, the cyclist continued his long bell ring no stop.

Then his bike finally passed me. Because there is no bike traffic, this cyclist can pass me easily without using the horn.

Hi Vrindavan, hope you can try to think the other way.  He may be just want to notify you that he is approaching you in high speed.  He should not be in old-man-bicycle speed.  We are talking about thinking of other users in the bicycle path so take it as a friendly remind.  As a cyclist (years before) who normally bike on the road but still have limited experience in cycling path, I hope you know that if the cyclist is approaching in a very fast speed and you suddenly change your course (just a little bit is enough), the accident can be fautal.

並非所有單車友都咁惡的，小弟試過好幾次，碰到一個面上有羊咩鬚的前輩，小弟當時帶著一名視障人仕跑沙田單車徑去大埔(因行人路太多不平及manhole蓋)，小弟左手豎起拇指，對方亦豎起拇指回應，跟在他們後便的單車友跟他一樣避開小弟兩人，回程時，去到廁所位又見到佢，佢又以豎起拇指手勢，小弟感覺佢好好人兼好認同小弟帶視障人仕，好像識英雄重英雄的，所以小弟並不認同單車友同我們跑友關係咁差。小弟每次都好想停下來跟他們傾偈，但帶住視障人仕令我沒法停下來。
