Women from around the world have been wearing the number 261 because it makes them feel Fearless in the face of adversity, whether it is a tough marathon, a difficult business presentation, or coping with the many challenges of life.

Thanks for posting this.  Couldn't imagine women were not allowed to run marathon, less than 50 years ago.  Today, we can choose to run, or not to.   HK Marathon has not published statistics but from what I observed, women constitute less than 20% of full marathon population.  Really wish to see more female runners in the future.
