Hello everybody,
Other than exceises, I think to change the way of eating is more important and it lasts longer. 5 years ago, I lost almost 40 lbs(from 259 to 219) in 18 months, I spent 4 months and HKD 4000 to see nurtitionsit. Now, I am 229 and I am floating from 220 to 238 in this period. It is because I like eating very very much and the food I like are not the good one. I woud like to share with you the follows:
1. When I was on diet, I had 5 times a week the barbebue (no fat) pork rice, it is one of the most delicious food what u can take. Also u can take fish / beef / ball noodle are also OK.
2.I was asked to take one milk(no fat) or soya milk(no sugar) everyday, because u will lose calcium when you are losing weight.
3. Two fruits and 3 portion of vegetable, one small bowl vegetable means one portion. This is very very important no matter you want to loose weight or not.
4. U can carry some soda biscut with you when u are out.
5. 8 lbs per month is the right standard
6. I think it's important to hv at least 80% of yr daily consumption.
Also, pls work out yr BMI to see if you need to loose or not. I hv to say I am not good enough like other chings, but I start considering seriously to loose some weight for my full marathon next year.
