This is not healthy! Taking two pills a day and cut down on fruits??!!! Unfortunately the answer is Yes. Not only does Glucosamine increase your fat storage but also increase blood cholesterol level to certain individuals. Also, why would you cut down on fruits (vitamins, electrolytes and minerals) because of Glucosamine? this is not healthy at all. Please be careful about doing that.
The bottom line is ~ Losing weight and marathon training do not work well together. It is extremely difficult to lose weight during marathon training. With the increase of muscle mass, carlories intake before LSD, other supplements (like Glucosamine, extra protein..........etc), you are lucky that you don't gain any weight at all. I haven't met runnners that lose weight during the training periods.
