I eat the night before and it works fine with me. If I have food in my stomach or in my guts. I will end up going to the washroom somewhere along the route. I usuually drink 17 oz of Gatorade 10 minutes before I run.

re blurmax: thx ~ since I woke up too late that day (probably around 12pm) and started running at 3:30pm, so I neglected the importance to eat crab... anyway I won't risk myself like this next time.
re ivrunner: hardly can I remember what I ate last Saturday... my impression was: Japanese food... some seafood with sparkling wine. but what I am pretty sure is I didn't eat much crab and my stomach wasn't full. It seems it is important to consider eating before starting LSD... thx for your remind and I won't be so negligent like this again...
Congrats on your first half Mary and 10K PB. You definitely is a speeder!! But be very careful though. Instead of running a fast PB 10K after a half marathon, you should have done a slow recovery 5K run instead. Please don't overdo your muscle tissues. It is very easy to injure the microfibres of the muscle tissues this way. Let it rest for a few days.
